Privacy Policy
Effective August 5, 2026
This policy explains what information Timber Couture Ltd Co ("Timber Couture", "we") collects on timbercouture.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Timber Couture Ltd Co supplies and installs natural-wood and butcher-block countertops from Simpsonville, South Carolina, serving South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. For anything in this policy, reach us at client@TimberCouture.com or (864) 790-3777.
Information you provide
When you request materials or an installation, we collect what you enter in the order form: your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, customer profile, how you heard about us, delivery or installation address, and the details of your project — materials, dimensions, kitchen sketches, and any measurement files you upload.
Before you press submit: once you have entered your name and an email address or phone number, the form saves your details as you type — even if you never finish or submit the request. We do this so we can follow up if you run into trouble or change your mind. If you'd like a partial inquiry deleted, email us and we will remove it.
Returning customers may be emailed a one-time verification code to confirm the address on file. Codes are short-lived and used only for that confirmation.
Chat widget
Messages you type into the site chat are processed by an AI service provider to generate answers about our products and services. Don't share sensitive personal information in chat; for anything account- or order-specific, email or call us instead.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how visitors use the site and whether our advertising works. These tools set cookies and record events such as page views, starting an inquiry, and submitting an order request. We do not send them your name, email, or phone number from the website.
You can opt out or limit this measurement:
- Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- Meta's ad preferences for how Meta uses data from sites like ours
- Your browser's controls for blocking or clearing cookies
Ad-click and campaign links
If you arrive from an ad or a campaign link, the link may carry identifiers such as a Meta click ID (fbclid) or UTM campaign tags. We keep those for your visit and attach them to any inquiry or order request you send, so we know which advertising actually brings customers. They tell us about the ad you clicked — not about your browsing elsewhere.
Photo likes
Liking a photo in our gallery or journal is anonymous. To count each visitor once, we store a salted, one-way hash derived from your IP address — the address itself is never stored, and the hash can't be turned back into it or linked to a profile.
Service providers
These companies process data on our behalf to run the site:
- Render — application hosting
- MongoDB Atlas — database
- Cloudflare — network delivery and security
- Brevo — transactional email (order alerts, confirmations, verification codes)
- Google — analytics
- Meta — advertising measurement
How long we keep information
Inquiries and orders are kept while your project is active and afterwards as business records. When we remove a contact from our records, it is permanently purged 30 days later. Verification codes expire within minutes. Partial inquiries are deleted on request, as described above.
Your choices
Email client@TimberCouture.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Project photos
We photograph completed installations for our public gallery and project journal. Photos show the work, not your family or address details — see our Terms of Service for how to opt out.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will post the new version here with an updated effective date.
